Downtown Holiday Decorating Challenge

Help us make Downtown Council Bluffs shine this holiday season! We’re inviting downtown businesses, organizations, nonprofits, and anyone with a storefront to get creative and transform their storefront windows into festive holiday displays. 

Prizes

1st Place: $500 + bragging rights! 
2nd Place: $250 
3rd Place: $100

The Rules

  1. 1. Register by Friday, November 6 at noon.

  1. 2. Display completed by Thursday, November 19. Displays should be ready for Winterfest (November 20) and remain on   display through Saturday, January 2.

  1. 3. Winners announced: Monday, December 21. Winners will be announced on the Chamber website and social media. 

  1. 4. This challenge is focused on storefront window displays. Decorations should be displayed inside the storefront windows and be visible to people outside.

  1. 5. Displays must be family friendly.

  1. 6. Participants are responsible for the setup, maintenance and removal of their decorations.

  1. 7. The Chamber is not responsible for damage or loss related to displays.

  1. 8. Participants agree to allow the Chamber to photograph and promote their displays.
