MAPA is a Regional Council of Governments. Some of its areas of work include long range transportation planning, community and economic development, strategic planning and facilitation. It serves Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, and Cass Counties in Nebraska; Pottawattamie and Mills Counties in Iowa. MAPA brings governments and organizations together to discuss issues which cross city, county and state boundaries.
